Lymm Library, Davies Way, Lymm
Library Opening Hours

During the period running up to the Festival, photographs will have been taken of many of the allotment plots and plot-holders who till the soil at the four different sites in Lymm - Sow Brook, Elms Farm, Star Lane and Ashcroft Road. The end result will be a snap-shot record in time of the recent surge of interest in growing vegetable and fruit crops, and hopefully it will encourage others to do the same. Most of the allotments are currently under cultivation and there is a waiting list for new allotment-holders.

The resulting photographic record will be presented to the Lymm and District Local History Society for their archives.

Lymm Festival are grateful to the Cheshire’s Year of Gardens 08 community grant scheme, who are supporting this project.
