Oughtrington Community Centre wants to welcome everyone to its family fun day. Come and see the new building and the new sculpture in the orchard. Sculptor Adrian Moakes worked on design ideas with students of Lymm High School, and has created a beautiful piece to enhance the rejuvenated orchard. There will be an exhibition of the work produced by the students that inspired the finished sculpture. There will be lots of stalls with tasty wares - a BBQ, teas, coffees and cakes, honey and jam stalls and plenty of activities for the children. Make a woody decoration, or paint a plant pot, or help to name the sculpture. The day is run in conjunction with the Open Gardens, so make it part of your route.
